We’re fortunate at May Financial Solutions to be able to give back, which is why we have long committed to donating a portion of our income, along with our time, to organizations that make a direct, positive impact on the community. In addition to the groups below, we also contribute to our local food bank, life shelter and Camp Erin DFW, an annual bereavement camp for children and their families.
There’s nothing quite like being able to share your passion to help others, which is why Chip May became a volunteer pilot with Angel Flight. Through the organization, he frequently offers up his services and uses his personal Cessna 210 aircraft to fly people in need of transportation to receive specialized medical treatment not available in their local community.
May Financial Solutions offers ongoing support and event sponsorship to the River Legacy Foundation, which preserves the Trinity River as a beautiful natural resource for the community and educates the next generation of environmental stewards through River Legacy Parks and the River Legacy Nature Center.
Chip May has long been a part of the Boy Scouts and loves to continue to give back to the organization to help raise the next generation of leaders. A former assistant Scoutmaster to Troop 421, Chip still serves as a merit badge counselor as needed. He has twice accompanied a group of Venture Crew Scouts to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and still enjoys a high adventure in the outdoors.
Just like the early bird gets the worm, the Arlington Sunrise Rotary Club meets at 6:45 a.m. every Friday for fellowship and community service. Chip May is a member, scholarship chairman and former president of the club. He also serves as a director of the Neighborhood Flag Display program, which partners with local Boy Scout troops to place more than 1,000 flags across the community on six holidays each year.
Katie Hutto is proud to serve on the finance committee for The Family Initiative, a child welfare agency that focuses on recruiting and supporting foster families in Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Kansas. Katie joined the organization in 2023 after being introduced by a client and is excited to contribute to such a worthy cause. TFI served more than 6,500 children in fiscal year ‘22, with an emphasis on finding the best possible solution for families to set kids up for future success.
